[HK- Canto] Justin Lo - Air Justin 08
I like his music because, its the first person's album whom make me feel as emotional as the songs.
My first canto-pop album was Justin's second album. I never listen to canto pop before that cause i though HK industry only have Aaron Kwok and Twins and i am sure i dont want Aaron Kwok. I remember there is this class in RP, first year, where i was suppose to be presenting something about iconic and i said,
"HK pop only have Aaron Kwok, now thats iconic". I didnt realise that this statement which seems so true to me, changes so much when i look at it now.
I first found Justin news through entertainment newspaper. Realises that he actually causes such big hoo ha in HK. Even though i dont understand what the hell he is singing about, i went ahead, got a copy of his album and it blew me off. I guess that why they say music is universal. I dont understand Cantonese then, but the songs sort of explain themself to me what they meant through its tunes and the way it was being sang by Justin. I guess thats when i find out that there is a bigger industry than Aaron Kwok in HK.
I can sing every single songs from that album, even though i do not really know what it means or am i pronouncing it correctly. It was then that i started the whole thing on canto pop.
I still remember songs like " Gam Dong, Meng Ann" are classics on the album and i never failed to sing them everything i on the karoke machine.
And course, his new concert, i am so sad, its in Msia, never in Singapore. But as consolence, we have the CD version of his concert.
How i wish to catch his live one day.
